VerinformRM is a web based software program that maintains demographic, education, training and contact information for residents and attending physicians. VerinformRM can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by logging in to the secure system with a username and password. Required evaluations are generated based on the rotation schedules and are configurable by the individual training program. VerinformRM generates automatic email reminders to inform physicians when evaluations are available, due or overdue. To complete an evaluation, a physician must log in to Verinform and then simply click on the correct homepage link. Duty hours are based on rotation, call, and leave schedules. Residents record their hours using a simple drag-and-click interface—no need to type in hours worked. Email reminders are automatically sent to residents who have not confirmed their duty hours in the past week. Additionally, residents may use VerinformRM's Procedure feature to record their procedures. Supervising physicians are notified by email to accept a procedure as credentialable.
